COVID-19: MOH tracks passengers, crew onboard MH139
PETALING JAYA, Mar 6 (Sin Chew Daily) — Health director-general Datuk Noor Hisham Abdullah confirmed that a passenger onboard Malaysia Airlines flight MH139 from Kuala Lumpur to Adelaide, Australia, on March 1 was confirmed with COVID-19 infection.
The 40-year-old Iranian woman and her eight-month-old child tested positive on March 4 in Australia. She was on transit in Kuala Lumpur en route from Tehran to Adelaide.
The health ministry is currently tracking down passengers and cabin crew on that flight.
In reply to a question from Sin Chew Daily reporter, Noor Hisham said, "Yes, we are investigating MH139."
