KUALA LUMPUR, Mar 2 (Sin Chew Daily) — An exclusive report by Sarawak Report said newly minted prime minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and people in his camp should be quarantined because a former minister reportedly having been in close contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case was one of Muhyiddin's closest allies.
The country's 26th coronavirus case attended a farewell ceremony of a former Pakatan Harapan minister and deputy minister on February 27, according to the of entrepreneurship development and cooperatives ministry's Twitter.
According to media reports, the minister and deputy minister are currently in self quarantine.
Before the 26th case was confirmed, the minister and deputy minister had attended events of both rival political camps.
A former PH minister now aligned to the new coalition went to Muhyiddin's house to congratulate him after he was appointed prime minster by Yang di-Pertuan Agong last Saturday.
