Two new COVID-19 cases in Malaysia
PETALING JAYA, Feb 28 (Sin Chew Daily) — Health ministry director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the country had confirmed two new COVID-19 cases today, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 25.
They are 41-year-old Japanese woman working in Malaysia and 54-year-old Italian man residing in this country.
The Japanese woman went to Japan in January and Indoensia early this month.
Noor Hisham also said the government would impose a temporary ban on visitors from South Korea, and foreigners who have been to Daegu and Cheongdo over the past 14 days, including those in transit in Malaysia.
