MARANG, Feb 28 (Sin Chew Daily) — PAS president Datuk Seri Hadi Awang said dissolution of the Parliament was the best solution to resolve the current turmoil as interim prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad did not get majority support among the Members of Parliament.

He told the media PAS initially supported Tun Mahathir to complete his full term, but as PKR, DAP and Umno all would not support him now, it would be meaningless for PAS to table a motion in support of Mahathir in the Dewan Rakyat.

"Fresh elections to allow the rakyat to make the choice is the best solution now."
