KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 27 (Sin Chew Daily) — Umno Melaka state liaison committee chairman Datuk Seri Abdul Rauf Yusoh said Melaka BN would seek an audience with the Yang di-Pertua Negeri as soon as possible if it had enough support in the state legislative assembly to form the new government.

BN has 13 seats in Melaka, and needs only two more to form the state government.

Meanwhile chief minister Adly Zahari said if the opposition had enough seats, they could sign a statutory declaration to seek the Yang di-Pertua Negeri's consent to form the new government.
