Perikatan Nasional is leading in the Padang Serai parliamentary election by nearly 10,000 votes.

Its candidate Azman Nasruddin won 25,347 votes against Pakatan Harapan candidate Mohamad Sofee Razak’s 15,685 votes.

Barisan Nasional’s C Sivarraajh, who withdrew from the race before the election, polled 1,614 votes.

Vote counting is still on-going.
