Abang Jo: GPS wants MA63 honored, not DPM post

KUCHING: Sarawak premier Tan Sri Datuk Patinggi Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari Tun Abang Haji Openg insisted that Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) had never asked for a deputy prime minister post and that this was not in the coalition’s election manifesto for the recent 15th general election.

“GPS’ primary task is to get Putrajaya to honor the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63). We have never asked for a DPM post.”

However, Abang Jo said GPS would accept if offered the post.
