PUTRAJAYA, July 5 (Sin Chew Daily) – The Prime Minister's Office said in a statement today that a special sitting of Parliament will be held for five days from July 26 to 29 and on August 2.

The PMO said the special sitting will be held in accordance with the standard operating procedures set by the National Security Council (MKN) and health ministry.

It also said the special sitting of Parliament is to explain the National Recovery Plan, amend legislation and rules for hybrid parliamentary sessions.

The Dewan Negara, meanwhile, will meet from August 3 to 5.
