PUTRAJAYA, May 4 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 3,120 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including six imported cases.

Selangor reported 675 new cases, followed by Sarawak (620), Kuala Lumpur (408), Johor (336), Kelantan (296), Penang (167), Kedah (155) and Perak (117).

To date there are a cumulative total of 420,632 confirmed cases and 387,542 recoveries (including 2,334 discharged today) at 92.14% recovery rate.

23 new deaths were reported today, taking the toll to 1,574.

There are currently 31,516 active cases, including 338 at ICUs, 181 requiring ventilators.
