PUTRAJAYA, Apr 21 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 2,340 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including 12 imported cases.

Selangor reported 526 new cases, followed by Sarawak (429), Kelantan (370), Kuala Lumpur (291), Sabah (172), Johor (170) and Penang (111).

To date there are a cumulative total of 381,813 confirmed cases and 358,726 recoveries (including 1,910 discharged today) at 93.95% recovery rate.

11 new deaths were reported today, taking the toll to 1,400.

There are currently 21,687 active cases, including 248 at ICUs, 101 requiring ventilators.
