Sin Chew Business Awards a platform for sharing

PENANG (Sin Chew Daily) -- Sin Chew Business Awards is poised to help promote entrepreneurship in Malaysia and the award winners will become role models for other businesses to emulate.

Persatuan Usahawan Maju Malaysia (PUMM) Penang state liaison committee vice chairman Lee Eng Hai told Sin Chew Daily, to be a role model for other businesses, a company not only needs to have a certain operation scale, it must also be inspiring and influential to the community while discharging its obligations for the society.

PUMM is one of the supporting partners of Sin Chew Business Awards 2014.

A talk on GST will be held at Lecture Theater 2 Wawasan Open University at 11a.m, April 19. The main speaker will be senior executive director of Grant Thornton Malaysia Ms Seah Siew Yun. The talk will be conducted in Mandarin. Admission is free. SMEs are encouraged to take part in this event.

IN addition, CIMB Bank will also arrange a guest speaker from its Global Sales, FX & Transaction Banking Department to share with the participants the latest information on financing.

The second Sin Chew Business Awards is organized jointly by Sin Chew Daily and MCIL Multimedia Sdn Bhd, both under Sin Chew Media Corporation. CIMB Bank is the exclusive sponsor of this event.

The Sin Chew Business Awards 2014 is now open for registration and nomination. Closing date is June 15.
