PETALING JAYA, Aug 14 (Sin Chew Daily) -– The inflammatory remarks by Indian Muslim preacher Zakir Naik have sparked the fury of even the Malay politicians and netizens who have demanded his immediate deportation.

Majidah Hashim told Chinese and Indian Malaysians in a tweet that this is their home, and that the Malays are their friends, neighbors and family.

Civil rights lawyer Siti Kasim blasted Jakim and wanted the minister in the PM's department in charge of religious affairs to do something.

Selangor PKR Youth chief and Kota Anggerik state assemblyman Najwan Halimi tweeted that Zakir Naik's disparaging comments is unacceptable and he should be deported from this country.

Meanwhile, social media user Harris Zainul has urged the elected reps in Shah Alam/Kota Anggerik to state their stand on Zakir with regards to his remarks on Chinese and Indian Malaysians.
