PETALING JAYA, May 8 (MySinchew) – The following are some of the highlights of the 14th general elections on the eve of the polling day.

COUNTRY HEIGHTS HOLDINGS Bhd executive chairman Tan Sri Lee Kim Yew said during an interview with MalaysiaKini that MCA should leave Barisan Nasional.

THE PAKATAN HARAPAN rally at Padang Kota, Penang last night saw a massive turnout of spirited supporters undeterred by the rain

IN HIS FACEBOOK video, former MCA president Tan Sri Ong Tee Keat said Wee Ka Siong and Chong Sin Woon owed the Chinese community of Malaysia an explanation over the SJKC Choon Hwa Pandan issue.

He accused that “someone in the government” attempted to withhold news of the school's relocation approval in a bid to thwart his election bid in Pandan parliamentary seat during the 2013 general elections.

“Then deputy education minister and today's candidate for Ayer Hitam parliamentary seat Dr Wee Ka Siong, and also Mr Chong Sin Woon, are responsible in this case.

“Five years have since passed but the school is still nowhere to be seen.”

PKR VICE PRESIDENT Rafizi Ramli campaigned for the parliamentary and state candidates for Johor Bahru shortly before the clock struck twelve last night

He said even though he only had 15 minutes to talk, it was enough to take down the incumbent prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
